Shingie is waiting for me and I am overjoyed to see her. We take the train to the City Centre. As we come out of the station it starts snowing. My first snow ever! I am thrilled. Snow virgin no more.

Aeroplane De-icing at Amsterdam Airport
Amsterdam the next morning was cold. The ground was an endless white that promised to totally frost-bitefy me when I stepped out. Thank goodness it didn’t get a chance to keep that promise. The warmth of the airport terminal kept me away from its icy tentacles.
