And Christmas is White

We have an invitation to go to see a colleague of S’s in a small town (of about 22,000 people) called Lier. The train from Oslo takes us to Drammen (about 47km from the capital, population 60,000), where we meet our host’s son.

Stomach rumbling is a not-so-fantastic reminder of last night’s excesses.
We spend the night in Lier. There is more snow and when we wake up the next day everything is a beautiful white.
