‘amaBooks Publishers are looking for short stories for a joint publication with Parthian Books of Wales. The launch date for the book is 1 March 2009.

The African Photo Entrepreneur Programme is specifically aimed at growing photo entrepreneurs who can compete on the global stage in terms of photo production and market savvy. Launched ahead of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the programme will be run in South Africa in the latter half of 2008 and represents an investment of over R30,000 in each participant. (more…)

Habana Sax – a 5-piece Cuban jazz band featuring four incredible saxophones and one astonishing percussionist, “a Cuba you’ve never heard”, are pit-stopping in Harare Courtesy of Alliance Francaise and the Cuban Embassy, as part of a worldwide tour.
