Winning a big literary prize

Perhaps it takes a really great story and lots of luck on your side. Luck being when the judges read your story in a favourable state of mind. Luck being when the judges relate to something in your story and hang on to it. Luck being when out of scores of great stories, yours, by twist of perception, by placement on the continuum of time, by subject matter and perchance by ancestral intercession , is even greater than these…
