One of the T-shirts on sale at the launch of an exhibition to commemorate World Aids Day at the National Gallery in Harare on Friday (28 Nov).
The T-shirts were donated by the European Union and painted by children from Chiedza Childcare Centre and Mashambanzou Care Trust. All proceeds from sales will go to these two charities.
The exhibition entitled “A Round Solution” presents posters, banners, paintings, postcards, bookmarks and other items used in AIDS campaigns worldwide. (more…)

The Wedding Wow Exhibition House recently (10 to 12 October 2005) held a wedding expo at Cresta Lodge in Harare. The expo brought together some of Harare’s leading wedding outfitters, florists, photographers, planners, equipment suppliers, etc. Every day of the expo featured a fashion show presenting the latest in wedding attire…

The Dance Trust of Zimbabwe (formerly National Ballet) recently featured a week long extravanganza of evening performances in the garden of their Belgravia premises. They call it “Starlight Dancing” and it’s become an annual feature on Harare’s entertainment calendar.
