A Lesson from the CBZ A Academy

When I walked into the HICC at around 1100hrs on Saturday (4th October 2008) the first sight that caught my eye was a teenage girl sitting on one of the sofas in the foyer, her head buried in her hands, sobbing loudly. I immediately understood.

She had wanted to make it through to the next round of A Academy but had been unsuccessful.

A Academy Winners Make it to Idols Finals

Above: Idols in their own right- Tapiwa, Jonah, Eric, and Willis. Eric & Jonah took part in the idols competition & made to the next round.

It was great to see many of the young Zimbabwean talents who made it to the CBZ A Academy finals in 2006 and 2007 make it through to the next round of Idols to be held in Nairobi. (more…)
